Job Summary

We are seeking a Radiology / Cardiology - Mammography Tech to join our team! This is a 13-week travel contract in the Westwood area. Day 5x8-Hour (09:00 - 17:00)

Experienced mammography tech w/background in 3D mammography, stereotactic biopsy, diagnostic mammography, and working in a comprehensive breast center

Biopsy experience - hard stop requirement

50-mile travel radius

Responsibilities

Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections
Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results
Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart
Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary
Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with medical charting desired
Strong attention to detail

Compensation: $60.00 per hour
